Review
Can we all just agree that Sarah Mass writes so well?! And all her books are to die for?!!
Plot
The plot in Throne of Glass is amazing. I haven’t read a book with this kind of plot in a while. Honestly, it somewhat gave me When The Moon Hatched vibes. Since I read so much, I really appreciate a new and authentic story line. Throne of Glass is well thought out, and an intricate story. At first, I don’t really love the MC. She’s arrogant and an assassin. For some reason I just thought there’s no way I am going to like this character. But you almost always loving them regardless! I hear the back story for the Celaena comes into more play in a book later in the series. Some even argue to read that one first!
Spice
The romance in Throne of Glass is also top notch. I love the wondering, the games and the innocence of it all in Throne of Glass. There’s nothing but sweet kisses, and it melts my heart! It’s tender how they fall for each other, but you can’t help wondering if there are other feelings falling into place between different characters. By the end you are still torn!
Magic
The magic in Throne of Glass is mentioned at the beginning, but comes into full play near the end of the book. I almost forgot that magic was apart of the book when it popped up again! The characters use spells and draw on super natural forces from the other side. There is even a hidden world with supernatural beings that you get a sneak peak of.
I had to carve out a lot of time to read Throne of Glass since I couldn’t put the book down!! LOVE this book and would definitely recommend.

Summary
In a land without magic, an assassin is summoned to the castle. She has no love for the vicious king who rules from his throne of glass, but she has not come to kill him. She has come to win her freedom. If she defeats twenty-three murderers, thieves, and warriors in a competition, she will be released from prison to serve as the King’s Champion.
Her name is Celaena Sardothien.
The Crown Prince will provoke her. The Captain of the Guard will protect her. And a princess from a faraway country will befriend her. But something rotten dwells in the castle, and it’s there to kill. When her competitors start dying mysteriously, one by one, Celaena’s fight for freedom becomes a fight for survival-and a desperate quest to root out the evil before it destroys her world.

Where to buy?
Since I go through books so fast, I normally don’t like to buy books brand new. For the most part I have found amazon to be a great place to find used books. They often offer great deals, and if you have amazon prime, shipping is free!
Get Throne of Glass here from amazon.
Another place I like to go for books is a website called thriftbooks. Often I’ll price compare between this website and amazon. Thriftbooks used to be cheaper than amazon, but lately I’ve been surprised with amazon. So you never know!
The last place I go to for books is kindle unlimited. Believe it or not you don’t need a kindle to get the benefits! Kindle has an app you can just download onto your phone. This is one of my favorite features because if I forget my kindle, I can still pull up the book on my phone! And the app does a great job switching to the last page I was on in the book even if it was on a different device.
